Fig dessert or anjeer ka halwa also known as anjeer ka meetha is a tasty and quick dessert. It is healthy too as it doesn't require Ghee and sugar ( optional). Here I am sharing the resipe with pics...
Dried fig / anjeer – 250 gms.
Sugar – 50 gms
Khoya / Mawa – 100gms. ( optional)
Deshi ghee – 2 tbs
Powdered cardamom seeds – 1 tbs.
Soak dried figs in boiling water for 15 – 20 minutes. After that puree them in a blender.
In a wok. Heat 2tbs of pure ghee and pour the puree in it. Saute for 15-20 minutes till it thickens.
Now add khoya and sugar and mix it for 5 minutes.
Add powdered cardamom seeds , mix.
Garnish with chopped nuts or silver foil. Delicious and healthy dessert is ready.
Serve hot or cold.
